About the Author - Betty Harrison
At 36 years old, I am a full-time working mother of 3. I have lived in the Fairbanks area for over 22 years. My interest in beauty and fashion dates back to my childhood days.

I am not a trained professional in cosmetology, dermatology, or any related fields, so take that into consideration when evaluating my advice. I am speaking primarily from personal experience and 20+ years living in Alaska.

My knowledge, such as it is, on skin care and beauty, have been developed over the years with the aid of modeling classes I took

during my teens and early twenties, and through magazine articles and books I’ve read. I hope that you find some of my suggestions helpful,or at the very least entertaining.
